You can get involved with the Living a Healthy Life– Self-Management Program by hosting the 6 week workshop at your organization or community centre. Give back to your community by offering this exciting and free self-management program! Hosting a workshop is simple, we supply the following:
- Promotion and registration support
- Program materials
- Two trained Peer Leaders to run the 6 week program. Or, staff/volunteers from your organization can train as Leaders to deliver the workshop at your organization
- Reunion sessions to celebrate continued success, overcome any challenges and stay connection to the group
- Online and print newsletters
What we need from you:
- Free space that is accessible and accommodates up to 20 people
- Tables and chairs
- Parking nearby
- Community spirit!
